Emeritus Membership

Established in 2012, Emeritus Membership is open to members who meet the following criteria: have been a Regular Member for at least seven years and have fully retired from clinical practice. Emeritus Members have full voting and other privileges of Regular Members and will pay reduced membership dues as decided by the Executive Committee. Emeritus Members may not hold office or serve on the Executive Committee.

Regular members who wish to apply for Emeritus status should send a letter or e-mail to the Society's office, documenting that they meet the requirements and requesting a change in status, by July 1 each year. The Executive Committee is responsible for reviewing and approving/not approving all requests for Emeritus Membership. Any change in status will be approved annually and within 30-45 days following the July 1 deadline. The fee for Emeritus Membership is $96.25.
